SAINT JOHN – Following its successful launch in early April, a tech company headquartered in New Brunswick and Colorado is growing its N.B. operations with the recent hiring of four New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) graduates.
Routinify, a smarter living platform that combines easy-to-use technology with wearable technology for seniors and their caregivers, hired four graduates of the Information Technology: Programmer Analyst program at the Saint John Campus. The new hires are working alongside the company’s seasoned development team on automation of its Smart Display set-up, the evolution of its shared business services and testing and quality assurance processes, all based on skills they acquired and developed at NBCC.
“With a graduate employment rate of approximately 90 per cent, NBCC alumni have a significant impact on the economic and social prosperity of our region and our province,” said Catherine Sidney, Acting Department Head of Business/IT at the Saint John Campus. “Employers like Routinify help our graduates stay in New Brunswick to transform lives and communities.”
